I made a New Year’s Resoulution this year to have a thankful heart in all circumstances, no matter what the outcome would be. I have heard teachings by Joel Olsteen encouraging this new attitude I choose to adopt that make so much sense, “The praises go up, and the blessings must come down”! I choose to remember God’s goodness in all areas of my life. The road so far this year has only had a few bumps thank you Father for that, but everyday I choose to lift up my praise to my heavenly Father, I praise you for my health and the health of my entire family, I praise you that I have a house to live in and that you have blessed me with a beautiful back drop to view each morning that I awake, I praise you that I have three beautiful children that love me, I am so thankful for my husband and the patience he demonstrates for me, I am so thankful for having close friends that love and uplift me, I am praising you Father that I can still seek you out everyday with my mind, heart and soul with the freedom to know that you will always hear and answer me. Praising God is a muscle that when exercised every day is a tool that not only blesses the Father but can bless us also. So learn to sing out the praises for the father in everything. If you are struggling praise Him, if you are status quo, praise Him, if you are searching for His path in your life, praise Him. If you are waiting for His direction PRAISE HIM!! God loves the praise of His children!!
1Timothy 4:4 Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks.
Psalm 50:23 Giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God
Be sure and listen to Baptisim by Kenny Chesney, I just about cried at the words in the song, very beautiful!!!
